Monthly Active Users(MAU)
The number of unique wallet addresses interacting with a protocol over a 30-day period.
In-Depth Explanation
MAU provides a broader view of protocol adoption than DAU. It's useful for protocols with less frequent usage patterns (lending, governance). Like DAU, it's susceptible to sybil addresses and bot activity. Growing MAU with stable or growing DAU/MAU ratio suggests healthy user acquisition and retention.
